FAQs

  • The main focus for our first session will be on reviewing your course syllabi and creating a master calendar with all of your major requirements for the semester - exams, papers, projects, and presentations. This will give you the opportunity to plan ahead and take advantage of slower weeks so you are less overwhelmed during your busier weeks.

  • The first EF coaching session involves a close examination of your goals for coaching. Whether you are struggling to manage your schedule, stay organized, prioritize tasks, or you just can’t seem to find good work-life balance, we’ll look at what you’re doing (or not doing), and determine why it’s not working. Using evidence-based strategies and powerful questioning, we will work together to fill your toolbox with everything you need to find balance and feel in control of your life.

  • The first session is held for 1 hour, as more time is needed for laying down the foundation for coaching. Each subsequent session lasts for 45 minutes.

  • Most students meet with me once a week, but I also offer twice weekly and as-needed sessions. Click here and scroll down to “Session Types” to find the most suitable option for you.

  • Academic Coaching: Some students work with me for one semester, gather the tools and strategies they need to succeed, and then fly solo. More often, students are looking for ongoing support for a year or more (some for the duration of their academic program). This model of coaching allows students to fine-tune what they learn in coaching, and receive invaluable accountability support.

EF/Life Coaching: Clients work with me for 6-12 months, on average.
